Through a partnership with your child’s school, your child is one of over 10,000 children across Western Queens who is enrolled in the Save for College Program. Over 95% of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Graders in Western Queens have an NYC Scholarship Account with an initial deposit of $100. We are saving for college together! Students in the Save for College Program have already received over $1.6 million in scholarship rewards. We are working together with you, your school and members of your community to ensure that your child has assets for college and career training.

173 families have completed Building Blocks for their children since the start of September, earning over $11,000 for their NYC Scholarship Accounts- and there is still $991,191 left to be claimed!

Your Save for College Program Journey

You started to activate and view your child’s NYC Scholarship Account (Building Block #1), which contains an initial deposit of $100.

All you need to do now is log back in to Savings Tracker and submit the Introductory Survey to finish activating your child’s account and receive up to $25 more.

2. Open and complete the Introductory Survey. All questions are optional.
3. Make sure to hit submit when you have completed the survey

That’s it! You have now activated your child’s NYC Scholarship Account and completed Building Block #1 of the Save for College Program.
