Welcome to the NYC Kids RISE Save for College Program!

Families with students in kindergarten, first, second, and third grade across 39 schools in School District 30 Queens are eligible to participate in the NYC Kids RISE Save for College Program, a program launched in 2017 to support children’s college and career training future. This is an opt-out program available to families no matter their income or immigration status.

About the Save for College Program


Your Save for College Program Journey

We’re saving for college and career training, together. This Fall, ALL District 30 kindergartners, and any new first-graders, second-graders, and third-graders, become eligible to participate in this scholarship and savings program and receive up to $275 from NYC Kids RISE towards their educational future, regardless of their family’s income or immigration status. Important Note

Enrollment in the Save for College Program is offered on a rolling basis, if you do not join a school in District 30 between September and November 2020, the dates mentioned in the above journey map may be different for you and your family. To start the process, any family that joins a school in District 30 during the school year should receive an opt out form within 60 days of entering the school.
