Save for College Program Information Session (English with Haitian Creole, French, and Russian Interpretation)
October 9, 9:00 am - 10:15 am
The NYC Kids RISE Save for College Program is a scholarship and savings program designed to make college and career training more accessible for public school students.
This school year, every kindergarten through third grade student enrolled in NYC public schools (including participating charter schools) can join the Program, no matter their family income or immigration status.
Eligible children are automatically enrolled and receive a free NYC Scholarship Account with an initial $100 for college and career training, unless their parents or guardians choose not to participate. Families have opportunities to receive additional rewards and Community Scholarships for their child’s account over time.
Attend a virtual Information Session to learn how the Program works and benefits your child!
Sessions are offered on Wednesdays in Spanish and English, with live interpretation in Arabic, Bengali, Mandarin, French, Haitian Creole, Korean, Russian, or Urdu.
NYC Kids RISE manages the Save for College Program in partnership with NYC Public Schools and the City of New York.
Every kindergarten through fifth grade student in the 39 pilot schools in geographic District 30 is eligible to participate in the Save for College Program.
