Thank you for your RSVP!

Thanks for Joining us at the June 2019 Save for College Program Family and Community Dinner!

Thank you for joining others in our Save for College Community to kick off the first Family and Community Dinner of the 2019-2020 school year at Jacob A. Riis Settlement!

Check out some pictures from the dinner below!

Joined by special guests including P.S. 111 Principal Dionne Jaggon, we celebrated students starting a new grade, families saving for their future and our community reinforcing college and career training expectations.

A few more reminders:
  • Savings Match – Double Your Savings: When your family saves in your child’s connected college savings account, NYC Kids RISE will match those deposits in their NYC Scholarship Account, up to $100. Click here for more details.
  • The Next Steps to Save: If you haven’t finished all 3 Building Blocks yet, click here, call 833-543-7473, or come to a Save for College Program event to complete these steps. Don’t miss your chance to earn scholarship rewards for your child’s educational future!
  • My Kid is Going to College Workshop: join NYC Kids RISE and your child’s school for an interactive workshop on preparing for college and career training early. A flyer from your school with the date and time will be sent home in your child’s backpack.

We hope you’ll join us at the next Family and Community Dinner on Friday, October 25th. Please RSVP by emailing info@nyckidsrise.org or calling 833-543-7473. The location in Sunnyside will be announced soon.

Thank you for being a part of the Save for College Community. As always, please email me (deglickstein@nyckidsrise.org) or call 833-543-7473 to get in touch.
