Tuesday at 6PM! - Our Third Community Scholarship Brainstorming Meeting

Dear Parents and Families in the Save for College Community,

It’s been another great two weeks raising money for the Astoria Houses community!

Since our Save for College Program community meeting last week, we have collectively raised another $6,890 for the NYC Scholarship Accounts of rising first, second, and third graders in Astoria Houses!

+$6,670
The Astoria Houses Tenants Organization’s Community Scholarship Campaign received another $6,670 in contributions, for a total of $115,264 raised so far! We are just $18,736 away from reaching our goal of raising $1,000 for every child in Astoria Houses with an NYC Scholarship Account.

+$220
5 more Astoria Houses families completed Building Blocks and began drawing down the Savings Match last week, earning another $220 for their NYC Scholarship Accounts.

This means that $19,635 in scholarships are still left on the table for families in our community who haven’t completed all the Building Blocks yet.

Please join us at this link for our third Zoom virtual meeting on Tuesday, September 22nd at 6pm

As usual, our meeting will focus on:

Sharing ideas and strategies for helping neighbors complete the Building Blocks and earn the most scholarship money for the children of Astoria Houses

Brainstorming ways that we can raise more money for the Tenants Organization’s Community Scholarship campaign

Tuesday, September 22nd
6pm – 7pm
