You're invited - Planning the Astoria Houses Community Scholarship Announcement!
Dear Parents and Families in the Save for College Community,
Amazing news! As of this week, the community has raised over $115,000 for the Astoria Houses Community Scholarship campaign. We are so close to reaching our goal- just $18,526 to go and we will hit a total of $134,000 raised, enough to provide $1,000 for every child in Astoria Houses with an NYC Scholarship Account!
This means that we will soon be ready to celebrate this accomplishment with the entire Astoria Houses community – and we need your help. We want to hear your ideas on how to spread the word about this incredible achievement, a first-of-its-kind fundraising campaign that has allowed neighbors, friends, business owners, and others to come together in support of our children’s futures.
Join the Astoria Houses Tenants Organization, fellow parents and guardians, and NYC Kids RISE via Zoom on Tuesday, October 6 at 6pm for a collaborative discussion where we will plan the announcement of this Community Scholarship.
