This year’s class of more than 3,200 kindergartners and new first graders has been officially enrolled in the NYC Kids RISE Save for College Program! Each student has now received an NYC Scholarship Account with a $100 first deposit for college and career training.

What Now?

If you have a kindergartner or first grader who was enrolled in a participating school by October 15, 2018, and you did not sign an Opt Out Notice, your child has been automatically enrolled in the Save for College Program.

If your child has been enrolled, take the next step by registering on the Savings Tracker to view your child’s new NYC Scholarship Account.

This is the first of the 3 Building Blocks of our partnership to save for your child’s educational future. Complete all 3 Building Blocks by June 26, 2019, to earn $75 more in scholarship money!

  • Remember, the Save for College Program is available for all families in District 30, regardless of immigration status or income.

  • You do not need to provide a Social Security Number or credit card number, and you do not need to contribute any money, to register on the Savings Tracker.

  • The Save for College Program is a way for families, schools, and communities to save together for their kids’ futures. This is just the beginning.

We are so excited to be partnering with you! Please contact us at (833) 543-7473 or [email protected] if you have any questions, or attend a Save for College Program event.
